For nearly two years previous to the awesome Tenan Square massacre in China; the chain reaction of brain boggling events nearing the end of 1989 in Europe which prompted the Berlin wall coming down and Soviet bloc nations breaking away from Moscow; and now the Gulf crisis which is another divine intervention of God; I have felt in my spirit that we need a fresh visitation of glory if we are to meet the needs of the next decade.
These events have surprised theologians, politicians and the "think tanks," but I believe it has to have been the Divine Intervention of God, for in one sweep of God's hand, the greatest effectual door ever has opened to the Church. I believe the Last Glory Wave is needed to reap this great harvest of souls. I call it the final round-up or ingathering. Thousands of spirit-filled laborers are needed. Men anointed with the glory of the Lord. The whole Church anointed and united to bring the authoritative message of God's kingdom.
Communism is crumbling and failing, and now is the time when we must bring deliverance to the millions of people who have been subjected to atheistic communism throughout their whole life-time and loose them into the glorious liberty of the Son's of God. Israel walked under the cloud by day and the fire by night with the glory of God upon them and they defeated the enemy. Likewise the Apostles defeated the enemy in the same way and still greater--so must we.
The Glory message is right on time with the supernatural power of God manifested in signs and wonders. The 1948 revival was a format of things to come.
In the first portion of this book I spoke of the perfect man in a vision I received in 1948. He was a monstrous man who arose from laying on his back, and began walking throughout every country of the world. At that time I was somewhat puzzled as to the full meaning of that part of the vision, but now I see this very thing happening.
China, inspite of the massacre and persecution, is experiencing the greatest outpouring ever. Whole towns are turning to God with three and four hundred attending early morning prayer meetings. I have video pictures to verify that.
The nation of Romania has churches filled wall to wall with hundreds outside listening to loud speakers. I learned this from a Detroit area pastor who visited there with a Romanian brother. Apparently some of the largest auditoriums have been rented and were filled to capacity. The whole country is ripe to harvest.
In fact, I have been communicating by phone and letter with Joseph Isfan, the head of the Romanian Mission of Chicago, Illinois. I have been invited to teach in a Bible school, which trains gospel workers for a period of time, and I also have been asked to have meetings in different areas; Timisoara is the city where the rebellion first broke out. I appreciate this invitation and am working on the details.
Now with the Gulf crisis, as awesome as it has been, I believe God is penetrating the whole Arab-Islam world. The Moslem-Islam world has been the most difficult and last great stronghold to penetrate. But God is shaking all nations. Desert Shield in operation has affected all Arab nations. Chaplains in the U.S. Army and Christians in the Military forces report many converts. Though the cease fire is still in effect an unsettled condition yet exists. Remarkably there has been minimal casualties considering. The gospel would have never penetrated into the Arab nations if it were not for this war. The glory of God upon the Church is the answer to these nations now.
There is no doubt that this is the appointed time of which Habakkuk talks about that "at the end it (the vision) shall speak, and not lie" (Hab. 2:3). It will be the fulfillment of all the prophets who received flash revelations of the end-times. They all were in agreement with Joel who proclaimed God's spirit shall be poured upon all flesh (Joel 2:28).
We have literally reached the "Now" portion of this book. I do not think it is necessary to write much more. Any believer who reads his Bible and the morning newspaper will be convinced that we are living in the "Now" period.
The next decade as far as I am concerned will be the most exciting. I rejoice to be alive, and to be about and able to participate in the greatest spiritual move of all times, even though I have reached three score and ten, and more years! I am excited to behold the glory of the Lord on God's people in these last days.
In closing, my prayer is that we, all of us, will have the hunger and the commitment to go all the way. I trust that this added portion to the original book will give us a better understanding about what is happening now and what to expect in the future. I believe all my statements are found or implied in the Bible which is the Word of God and that they are applicable for us in these last days.
